God’s Instruction for Salvation:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one come to the Father but through Me.” -John 14:6 (Jesus speaking)

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” -John 3:16

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” -Romans 3:23

“Your sins have cut you off from God.” -Isaiah 59:2

“It is by grace you have been saved, through faith-this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” -Ephesians 2:8-9

God’s Guidance Regarding Decentralized vs. Centralized Government:

“So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel and Ramah. They said to him, ‘You are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.” -1 Samuel 8:4-5

But when they said, ‘Give us a king to lead us,’ this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. And the LORD told him: ‘Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to yo. Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.” -1 Samuel 8:6-9

“Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king. He said, ‘This is what the king who will reign over you will do: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plout his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. Your menservants and maidservants and the best of your cattle and donkeys he will take for his own use. He will take a tenth of your flockes, and you yourselves will become his slaves. When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day.” -1 Samuel 8:10-18

“But the people refused to listen to Samuel. ‘No!’ they said. ‘We want a king over us. Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.” -1 Samuel 8:19-20

Look at what happened here. The people of Israel were living in a relatively libertarian society that had at the central level only God’s law and commands (thou shalt not steal, murder, etc…). At the community level judges ruled over cases. When the judges of a community could not find a settlement, only then did cases go to higher levels. There were no taxes. A voluntary tithe was required to be given to the priests (Levities). Social needs would be taken care of not by government but by the community and the Levities (priests). Security and protection were provided voluntarily from the community level up by the able men.

But the people were not happy with this. They wanted to be like other nations who had kings, or a strong central governing social organism. God warned them against this.

He told them the king would put their sons and daughters into his directed servitude for means of war and peace. He told them that the king would tax them. He told them that they would eventually cry out for relief from the kingship.

Look at us today. Here in America we were formed with a decentralized government. We had no income tax until 1913 (the same year Congress abdicated its responsibility for coining money to the privately owned Federal Reserve). Only recently has our executive branch, or president, had king like authority. Even now these new authorities are assumed and not granted under our Constitution. But still what is going on. We have a progressive income tax since 1913, we have an executive branch that has assumed the power to send our sons into war. We have a group of compulsive social welfare systems rather than relief and ministry from God’s servants.

When are we in this great United States going to wake up and realize we have rejected the gifts God gave us for systems of man and kings? How bad will it have to get? How much will our Constitution be destroyed before we reject these systems and return back to the system of liberty found in Jesus Christ and God’s Law?

God’s Requirements of Leaders & Instruction for Selecting Leaders:

“Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness” -Exodus 18:21

“The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor, but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.” -Proverbs 28:16

“If a ruler harken to lies, all his servants will be wicked.” -Proverbs 29:12

“He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.” -2 Samuel 23:2

What the world says:

‘You are wasting your vote if you don’t choose the lessor of two evils.’ The world tells you to be appathethetic, complacent, and to spend more time being entertained than in taking care of the responsibility of selecting leaders.

God’s Word on End Times events:

1) The Beast

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” -Revelation 13:1

“And he saith unto me, The waters which thow sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” -Revelation 17:15

“….and all the world wondered after the beast.” -Revelation 13:3

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast….” -Revelation 13:4

What does the world tell us? Is it different?

In the world there is a political and ideological movement towards a one-world governing system (the beast?). The UN is part of this system. The Council on Foreign Relations is the premier US policy organization pushing for more pieces of this system, such as the North American Union. President Bush Sr. (CFR member, pro-UN advocate) announced the “New World Order” to the world on Sept 11, 1991. The U.N. even has an “Ark of Hope” that mimics the Ark of the Covenant. The EU, UN, CFR, NAU, World Bank, etc… are all part of the same one-world / New World Order system. Videos and news posts about these movements are located on this website. Check out the link in the Bible Prophecy / Biblical Resources titled “Then What Happens?”, A Biblical Step by Step Overview of End-Times Events.

One more note on the movement for a world government. What is the reason cited for this movement? Well, it is of course “peace on earth”. A man made peace through bureaucracy which seems like a ludicrous potentiality to many, but like an enlightened goal to many more. Lets see what God might have to say about those who come proposing man made peace through force of centralized planning in the last days:

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” -1 Thessalonians 5:3

2) The Economic System of the Beast:

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” -Revelation 13:16-18

What does the world say in contrast to God’s warning above?

The world conditions us to move towards a cashless society. There is already talk about use of RFID implants for use in personal buying and selling like our current credit and debit cards. Additionally, the United States is implementing the Real-ID Act. Supposidely those rejecting this 4th amendment infringement will not be able to work, travel, and possibly not be able to buy and sell.

Even our cash is “cashless” these days. Since the 70’s our money has not been backed by anything. Before that it was backed by gold. Now the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank prints as much as it wants and puts it into the system and then charges the American taxpayer interest, just like a credit card. (FYI: The Fed Reserve and the income tax, which is used to pay the interest spoken of earlier, were formed at the same time; much of the forming in secret.) So in terms of money actually having real worth, we already live in a stealth cashless society. The incremental changes continue and the conditioning continues as we move towards the end.

God’s Instructions Regarding Debt:

“Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.” -Proverbs 22:7

“You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.” -1 Corinthians 7:23

“If you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you… You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.” -Deuteronomy 28:1,2,12

“If you do not obey the Lord y our God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you…The alien who is among you shall rise above you higher and higher, but you will go down lower and lower. He shall lend you to you, but you will not lend to him; he shall be the head and you will be the tail.” -Deuteronomy 28:15, 43,44

The World’s Instructions Regarding Debt:

That’s easy to figure out. Look around. How many people do you see actually using cash anymore? People use credit cards for groceries, vacations, fuel, etc…. Sure some of those swipes may be with debit cards, but look further. Recent figures have shown USA household savings rates in the negative. This problem is malignant. Our own government is now borrowing billions a day from China, has emptied the Social Security fund, and has increased future obligations via political promises in the form of entitlements. We are a debt nation that is maxed out!

The world tells us it is OK to have a mortgage that we must to struggle to afford. The world tells us to finance almost every aspect of our lives. Pay cash for a new car; you will be filling out paperwork for Homeland Security via the Patriot Act so you can be screened as a potential drug dealer or terrorist. Ditto if you are ever found with large amounts of cash on your person or property. In the 30’s our benevolent government, always clamoring for more of your worship, even made it illegal to own gold and silver! Have lots of debt to creditors; you will not have these same hassles. This is a key part of the world’s system guiding you worship something besides the Lord. Debt slavery can deny God opportunities in your life, and will have you running the rat race in a prison without bars instead of being free to follow God’s will for your life.

God’s Instructions For Saving & Investing:

“In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil but a foolish man devours all he has. – Proverbs 21:20

“Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise: Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer, …” -Proverbs 30:24-25

“The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.” -Proverbs 21:5

“Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations.” -Proverbs 27:23-24

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;…” -Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

The world gives us some contrasting instructions. First we have the passive blind diversification buy-and-hope/hold crowd. Such a practice would seem to be in violation of the lesson of knowing your business given in proverbs 27:23-24. In addition, the passive buy-and-hope practice may at some times be in violation of the lesson of proper and prudent timing given by Ecclesiastes 3:1-2. Blind diversification seems to be nothing more than long-term roulette.

Secondly, the world will many times tell us to chase after getting rich at all costs; and to do it quickly. Hastily chasing the promise of quick riches violates the principle of steady and diligent plodding given by Proverbs 21:5. God does not hate wealth. He hates when someone’s heart is worshiping wealth rather than him (idolatry). Everything we have is on loan from God, so relax your anxieties, but diligently plan while seeking the Lord’s guidance. Have ambitions to serve the Lord with the talents you have been given, and God will take care of the rest.

Although God tells us to be diligent in building our businesses and to have savings, He expects us to give as well.

“And he told them this parable: ‘The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ Then he said, this is why I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I’ll say to myself, You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry. But God said to him, You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself? This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” -Luke 12:16-21

“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.” -1 Timothy 6:17

“That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.” -1 Timothy 6:18-19
