Ron Paul wins the Texas 14th District with his largest margin ever. Here are the numbers (source is here):
Ron Paul (Taxpayers Best Friend & Strict Constitutionalist): 37,220 votes for 70.18%
Chris Peden (Neo-Con puppet & Big Government Militarist) 15,813 votes for 29.8%
This is the second time in Ron Paul’s congressional history that the neo-con big government machine has tried to take Ron Paul’s seat in congress by putting up a big government RINO puppet as a challenger. Freedom is clearly popular with those people Ron Paul has served in the 14th district for decades.
Some major media outlets and neo-con websites have been saying this was a close race. All propaganda to try to remove Ron Paul’s momentum! For his congressional bid, Ron Paul raised $500,000 in just the last month. Peden brought in a measly $20,000 for the same period. Paul’s congressional campaign raised over $1million during race for the 14th district.
While Peden’s campaign tried using Orwellian double speak to try to smear Paul, Paul’s record spoke for itself and handed Peden an annihilation defeat.
